Franken Jellyfish is a 4-house Franken fish combining boxes with rows and columns. This is among the rarest fish patterns used in solving.

Technique

1. Find a digit restricted to 4 base houses (mix of rows, columns, boxes).
2. Cover with 4 houses, ensuring at least one box is in the base or cover.
3. Eliminate the digit from cover cells not in the base.

Tips

• Franken Jellyfish are extremely rare and very hard to spot by hand.
• They represent the upper end of practical fish patterns.
• Computer solvers are typically needed to find these.
